Everyone is back at it again with the same old bandwagon of the “New Year ,New Me” but seems like Mariah Carey already had an incident in the introduction to our new year when she was “performing” at the new years eve times square event which really wasn’t a performance in my opinion. Then there’s the beef between Soulja boy and Chris Brown which has made it’s way throughout all of social media which really should’ve been left in 2016. As well as setting a new social media open discussion on who will win in the boxing ring with the new hashtag of teamsoulja or teambreezy. Last year in 2016 Drake has had a successful year with his album views, and when his album was first released he made a new type of way with music by making it his own. He has collaborated with many artist during that year and has yet more to success to come. J. Cole also has had a very successful year in 2016 by releasing new songs showing his perspective on the music culture and the pop life. Alicia Keys also made her way back to big stage and has a whole new personality she cut off makeup and now is her own woman, she released new singles and has been working on new albums in relation to the new her. 2016 was a good year of music and 2017 will be even more phenomenal with it’s music making more talented artist to come into the amazing music world.
